Rhone is a premium activewear brand engineered and tailored for men. I was inspired by their ethos to forward men’s (and now women’s!) pursuit of progress, to be better, do better and to build a community around those principles. That, combined with their truly top notch approach to athletic wear, had me concepting visual story ideas long before CEO Nate Checketts and I spoke about working together.
I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with Rhone on additional social and digital campaigns; contributing to and helping grow their forward thinking, fitness oriented community in New York and Los Angeles.

This spec commercial was shot over two days, based on an idea that friends and I had come up with for “a video with a Superman transformation” as seen in the opening shot. Our goal was to keep the imagery grounded in the everyday person’s urban experience while relating the transformative effects of exercise #WhenInRhone activewear.
